LFS isn't just about racing!

As said before, we realise how frustrating it is, but look at it this way. What if you didn't have any money to pay the fine? What would happen if we didn't take away your car? By doing so we have a fine that'll work all the time.

The restricted areas are being looked at. So they might change in the near future. However, if everyone drove calmly and cautiously there wouldn't be any problems with the marshals, would there?

The way it works is that the bank is open if there's a policeman on duty - I think... lol... not even 100% sure myself. I can't rob the bank, you see, because I'm able to be a policeofficer (!group Police).

Indeed, but please keep in mind that it is a TEST server and we cannot gaurantee you will keep whatever you earn there.

I think a good car to start with is the XRT. Because it's RWD you'll quickly learn how to control it when it slides and therefore learning the basics of LFS. With the right setup I think it can be quite forgiving also.

Yes, there is. Unfortunately CLIS seems to eat memory like there's no tomorrow. Every second or so it takes 4KB and it eventually starts munching on virtual memory. When that happens it seems to get stuck in a loop and cannot access some people's account.

Unfortunately it would then be nearly impossible to catch someone. Even if, like the above example, a car is still mobile in thick sand (1 km/h), you - being the officer - would have to somehow place yourself in front of the person to stop them going forward and behind them and beside them. So it's really not do-able, imo.

Well. I was the one who busted you and from my side there was no lag. CLIS returned the correct coding and you were busted there and then (at 'the beach').

It's a cruising server. The idea is to just drive! Have a bit of fun with people... and have you actually been on the server? You can't just pick a car. Yes, it says all are available, but only if you own them.

Well. The bad language is something we all do not want to see. Obviously if someone crashes we don't mind a "bollocks, damn barriers". That's simple human nature, but I personally find myself quite strict when it comes to insulting people. The other problem is that us admins can't be on there 24/7.
However, I did see Redline Racing had an anti-bad-language thing running which we could consider!

About not knowing how to earn money... seriously, I've said it before, but read the first line on the website under money. It's right there!

I find it quite amusing how people come up with these good ideas, but we've thought of most of them already. Also reversing the money so you earn more by cruising. I intend to discuss that again with CLC.

- And about who has authority... it says that on the first page of the website - CLC admins only. Of course, the police have some authority, but can't kick/ban people.

Another thing. If you don't like being caught, don't break the law! The fines are staggering imo, so I tend to stay away from the police or stop when they ask me to. Which I did and only got a € 250,- fine!

I've made a new horn5, but it isn't on the website yet. We're thinking of having several to download depending on what kind of music you listen to.
